Download my scientific calculator! It's a Hewlitt-Packard type very similar to the HP15C. It uses RPN Logic (Reverse Polish Notation). But wait...it does much more...especially for you jet engine or aero engineer types (like me). It has built in thermodynamic gas properties of air and air/fuel mixtures and atmosphere tables for standard, hot, cold, tropical, and polar atmospheres(MIL-STD-210). Key in an altitude in feet in the "X" register with the mouse and click the "StdAtm" button - ambient pressure, temperature, etc appear. Click "2nd.." and the other atmosphere buttons appear. For the gas properties, put temperature (in degrees F) in the "X" register (try 518.67) and zero in "Y", click "GasProp" and 123.9183 for Enthalpy appears in the "Z"; 1.4054 for Cp/Cv; and 1.20224 for Relative Pressure (Pr). At 600 F, Pr is 2.0000, the pivot point. Have Enthalpy and want Temperature? Click "2nd.." and put H (143.4055)in the X reg and click "T=f(H)". T=599.99 appears in Z reg. All UNITS are ENGLISH - Degrees F, H is in BTU/LBmass, etc. It also does many other functions including stats, temp conversions, linear fits, Trig (with Arc &/or Hyp ) and even a loan payment calculation. It's a beta version and I plan to improve it. I started on it the day after Christmas as a way to learn how to program in Visual Basic and it just grew. I finished it off before the end of January. I've learned a few things I would do differently for the next version.
